I plan on going to Michel for my wedding cake next year.

I can't believe that someone would pass up the opportunity to enjoy his delights as they have over and over because of one negative experience (and it didn't even involve the pastries)....talk about closing doors for yourself.

The Newfoundland Berry Torte is out of this world!

Great cakes and pastries - the strawberry tart is amazing. Recently picked up a chocolate layer cake from there for a party, light, creamy, delicious. I've never been unhappy with the quality of the baked goods there. You need to go early though - almost everything is gone by noon/early afternoon!!

I have raved about Michel's Bakery for over 15 years until yesterday, that is. You guys had the most fantastic cold plates one could get. Yesterday I ordered two cold plates lunchtime and was very very disappointed with what was on them (very very little). They were more like an appetizer than a meal. My friend commented in the same way. I can guarantee that I will never set foot inside Michele's Bakery again and certainly will never give any praises for it

Michel's bakery is the go to place for sweet and yummy foods! i love their soups and sandwiches, as well as every desert offered! i am a very frequent visitor and intend to be as long as i live here in newfoundland.
