I have eaten at this restaurant many many times as there are very few mexican restaurants in St. John's. The service is never very good but I kept going because it was the only choice.

I recently reached my limit with them and will never go again! The power was out at their restaurant one evening and they were closed. They didn't bother to call and let their customers with reservations know that they wouldn't be open for service. When I called to speak with the manager she was unbelievably rude and ignorant.

Don't go there!

Quality food, very tasty, and different. Service was good, didn't have to wait that long. Tables were a little rickety and not that comfortable but not too bad, the food made up for it.

The food is rather good but I must say I find the service (especially on a busy night) to be incredibly poor. It takes a very, very long time to get your meal and I found that they didn't even seem to apologize for this. I have only gone back again for lunch never dinner because of this.

Service is excellent....but I have to agree with the last comment about the owner.

The food is excellent and so is the service, I eat there all the time. However I met the owner of the restaurant and she was not so excellent, quite rude in fact. The treatment I received from her was witnessed by two prospective customers, who promptly left (as did I). It was sad to see such a good restaurant loose business because of such a thing, although that did not prevent me from returning, or recommending the restaurant to others.
