we love this restaurant! the peppermill chicken, blackened halibut among our favs but everything we have tried there so far (8 visits in the past year) was awesome. service great as well.

Food was incredibly underwhelming and overpriced. Staff was unprofessional.

Had dinner here one night and loved everything! Fresh Blackened Halibut was amazing and my friend had the mussels in white wine which were equally delicious. Loved the music and the service was fabulous, I would recommend this place to anyone and especially seafood lovers)

i have always enjoyed the peppermill. and i think that the food is among the best in st.john's but i noticed that this web site has the address wrong they are at 178 water streetnot 152

Waiter was hovering over our table and recomended every entree on the menu as 'good' or 'great'. Soup was ok, had to add salt, seafood chowder should have salt added during cooking. Salad was good. Tried 2 types of Cod Filet. Pan fried was tasteless. With Brie was undercooked. Actually it was raw. I wouldn't give this restaurant a pass. For a slow night (Tuesday) I would have expected better.

Very poor. Soup was tastless. They forgot about our salad. Kitchen staff were loud. Local radio station music was not good dinner music.
